FEATURED COURSE
Advanced Open Water
The Advanced Open Water class consists of the Advanced Open Water Diver eLearning course, classroom session, and six open water dives. Mandatory dives are a night dive/low visibility dive, deep dive and navigation dive. The student must complete three more "AOW Core" dives and there are several dives the student can choose from to complete their certification.
The course focuses on proper buoyancy, body position and fin technique. Gas planning, dive team management and safe dive practices are also heavily emphasized.
The course fee includes eLearning, instructor fees, air cylinders/fills, and open water facility fees. Dive gear is also not included in the cost of the course. The student is also responsible for transportation to and from the dive site and housing at the dive site.
*Advanced students must provide their own dive gear including a dive computer, proper thermal protection, and dive hood. This class requires a compass, writing slate/pencil, dive knife/tool, delayed surface marker buoy and spool, primary dive light. A backup light and tank marker are highly recommended.
